WARNING!! Critical Zero-Day flaw attacks Internet Explorer!

Zero-day flaw hits IE
(If you are reading this post in Internet Explorer close it now and use any other good one, now!)

Security experts are urging Internet Explorer users to stop using the browser, following the discovery of a new flaw that makes your desktop vulnerable to malicious code hosted on websites.

Hmmm...People don't troll Microsoft's Internet Explorer without reasons
And here is just another reason not to use Internet Explorer, a serious security flaw

This security flaw affects Internet Explorer 9 and earlier versions of the browser, although IE10 which is bundled with Windows 8  is not affected.

What is that one more flaw? Zero-day bug/attack!

What is Zero-day bug/attack/whatever?

Zero-day attacks are rare, mostly because they are hard to identify. Its called zero day because the attack occurs on "day zero" of awareness of the vulnerability! Clever!

It requires highly skilled software engineers(!) or hackers with lots of code to find for holes that can be exploited to launch attacks.

The attackers can exploit the bug to infect the PC of somebody who visits a Malicious Website(!) and then "take control" of the victim's computer.

Last week Eric Romang, a researcher in Luxembourg, discovered the flaw in Internet Explorer, when his PC was infected by a piece of malicious software known as Poison Ivy that hackers use to steal data or take remote control of PCs. When he analysed the infection, he learned that Poison Ivy had gotten on to his system thanks to "zero-day" vulnerability, in Internet Explorer.

Microsoft reaction?

"We are aware of targeted attacks potentially affecting some versions of Internet Explorer," said Microsoft.

Microsoft released a Microsoft Security Advisory (2757760) and advised customers to install a security software tool as an interim measure, thus buying time to fix the bug and release a new, more secure version of Internet Explorer.

Now, even after reading all this, if you still use internet Explorer, Bravo! Atleast download their first-aid security tool here

Or there is another way.... simply double click Google Chrome ! After-all ,Chrome offers $2 million to hack it!
